Meet Francesca!


Violinist Francesca LaMarca Sacco is an active performer and teacher. She has performed in solo and chamber master classes for artists Leila Josefowicz, Stefan Jackiw, Todd Philips, Philip Setzer of the Emerson String Quartet, and Daniel Av­sha­lo­mov of the American String Quartet, members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous music festivals, including the Aspen Music Festival, Meadowmount School of Music, Bowdoin International Music Festival, and Kinhaven Music School.

Francesca has performed both nationally and internationally in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Wiener Musikverein and Bela Bartok Hall. In addition to performing, Francesca maintains a private studio teaching violin to students of all levels and ages. She is currently on violin faculty at Aurora Music Academy and the 92nd Street Y School of the Arts. She received her Bachelor of Music Degree at the Mannes School of Music where she studied with violinist and renowned pedagogue Ann Setzer.

Francesca’s previous mentors include Adela Pena of the Eroica Trio and Renee Jolles of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra at Mannes Prep. In addition to her dedication to the performing arts, Francesca is also well-versed in the world of visual arts. She is a portrait photographer and multimedia artist.
