Cheryl is a new teacher at Aurora Music academy, she has worked for AMA since August of 2023. Her favorite part about working for AMA is being surrounded by a community that has a strong positivity and passion for music. She feels that the air is filled with creative energy, even on quite days, and loves having Lily and Rosie to keep her company. AMA is a place where a love for music and the joy of connecting with others truly comes together.
Outside of the academy, Cheryl is a multi-genre pianist, and likes to play jazz! She believes that the art of making music through improvisation leaves a smile on an audiences face! Cheryl loves to compose or arrange songs for musical theatre productions, her favorite scene to work as an accompanist was playing “The Wicked” musical production.

“I want to be a bird flying around the forest, I want to use my charming voice to allure mother nature.”
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
“Knowing my past lives to prove that me being a musician is not a coincidence and how many times I have reincarnated on earth.”

“My favorite Disney princess is Ariel from ‘the Little Mermaid’! She embodies a captivating blend of wonder and bravery. Her ability to explore enchanting depths of the sea with her beautiful mermaid tail captivates my imagination!”
